Tributes paid to Carlow woman who was a 'beautiful lady' following her passing

Valerie Healy - Hacketstown, Carlow - Wednesday 4th June 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Valerie Healy of Mountain View, Hacketstown, Carlow.

Valerie passed away on 4th June 2025 peacefully at her home.

Predeceased by her brother Gerard. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Leah, son Leon, parents Eileen and Patrick, brothers Jim, Patrick and Edward, sister Louise, uncle Martin, extended family, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"So sorry to hear of the passing of Valerie beautiful lady gone to soon condolence to all Valerie family may her gently soul rip"

Another reads:

"Val, to your two beautiful children Leon & Leah, your Dad & Mam, brothers and your sister / partner in crime Lou, look after them all from above. We offer you all our deepest heartfelt condolences.
Val was an absolute lady - she radiated kindness, gentleness with a beautiful calming presence.
We are honored to have been enriched and graced with her formidable company, positive joy & that hearty loveable laugh."

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing at her parents residence, Slate Row, Hacketstown (Eircode R93 NT92) on Monday 9th June from 3pm concluding at 7pm. House private thereafter please. Funeral arriving to St. Brigid’s Church, Hacketstown on Tuesday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest with Gerard in Hacketstown Cemetery.
