RIP: Tributes paid to 'fun-loving' Carlow woman following her passing

Anne Brennan Byrne - Tullow, Carlow / Wicklow - Tuesday 10th June 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Anne Brennan Byrne of Rathglass, Tullow, Carlow.

Anne passed away peacefully, on 10th June surrounded by her loving family, after a long and bravely fought illness and in the loving and tender care of Dr Teresa Nolan (Tullow), Dr Kenneth Bolger and the staff of St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny.

Predeceased by her father Noel.

Anne, beloved wife of Andrew, devoted mother of Justin and Noel, her daughter-in-law Zuzanna and her adored grandchildren Bruno, Mia, Leon and Tommy. She will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by her mother Margaret and her family, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Our deepest sympathies to the Byrne and Brennan families on the passing of Anne. We remember her as a fun loving and articulate student. May she rest in peace."

Another reads: 

"Sincerest condolences to Andrew, Justin and Noel, Mrs Brennan and family and the extended Byrne and Brennan families on Anne’s passing. Such very sad news. May Anne rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing in her home (Eircode R93 NW66) on Thursday from 2pm - 9pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 2pm in St Brigid's Church Clonegal, with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery. House private on Friday morning please.
