RIP: Tributes paid following the passing of Carlow man who passed away in his 82nd year

Edward (Ned) Byrne - Coolkenno, Carlow / Wicklow - Tuesday 24th June 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Edward (Ned) Byrne of Coolkenno, Tullow, Carlow.

Edward passed away aged 82 on Tuesday the 24th of June 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Kathleen, and his brothers Simon and Pat. Ned will be sadly missed by his loving family, his sister Gretta, his brothers Tommy, Peter, Jay and Tony, sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Our deepest sympathies to all the Byrne family on Ned's passing. May he rest in peace."

Another reads: 

"Condolance to the Byrne Family on the Passing of Ned May he rest in Peace."

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing in Byrnes Funeral Home, Crablane Eircode R93HD96 on Wednesday from 2pm-9pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St Finian's Church, Kilquiggan, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
