RIP: 'Always such a pleasure to talk to' Tributes paid following Carlow man's passing

Andrew Bernard Jordan - Carlow - Wednesday 25th June 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Andrew Bernard Jordan of “Everton House”, Old Derrig, Carlow and formerly Miltown, Ballon and AB Jordan Solicitors.

Andrew passed away June 25th 2025 in the kind care of Sonas Nursing Home, Tullow and previously cared for in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Dearly loved husband of Kate and much loved father of Ruth, Darragh and the late Sarah Kate and doting grandfather of Patrick, Ronan and Alex. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son, brother Tom, sister Margaret, son-in-law Chris, daughter-in-law Edel, grandsons, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, colleagues of AB Jordan and friends. Predeceased by his brother Peader.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"My sincere condolences to Mr Jordan's family. Such an absolute gentleman, I had many chats with him in my time working for Clarke Jeffers Solicitors. Always such a pleasure to talk to. May he rest in eternal peace."

Another reads: 

"Sincere sympathy to Kate, Ruth and Darragh at this difficult time. In our thoughts and prayers. May Bernard rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle, Carlow (R93 H308) on Monday (June 30th) from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (July 1st) at 2.30pm in St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen. Burial afterwards in Killeshin Cemetery.
