Tributes have poured in following the sad and unexpected death of a young man from Carlow who has been described as a great friend and someone who always looked out for people.
24-year-old Robert Healy was reported missing from his home in Rath, Tullow, county Carlow, in the early hours of Monday morning.
The search was stood down on Tuesday after Gardaí confirmed the tragic discovery of his body in Wicklow.

Robert is predeceased by his grandparents Leo and Mary Healy and Chris Sweetman, aunt Geraldine Healy and uncle Barry Sweetman.
He will be so sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Jim and Mary, siblings Aisling and Naoise, grandmother Geraldine, aunts Fionnuala, Carolyn and Catherine, uncles Michael, David and Christopher, cousins, extended family, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie from those who knew and fondly remembered Robert, with one mourner saying,
"I knew Robert from multiple societies in DCU, he was always kind, outgoing and helpful in times of need. As one of his friends, he was always looking out for me throughout my entire time in DCU, I am saddened that we lost touch over the last year, but the good times we had together will always be in my heart. May he rest in peace."
Another wrote,
"Deeply saddened by the loss of Robert. I had the pleasure of knowing him in FCJ, also in Tullow and Carlow Macra. We really got to know each other again after many years, and became good friends. Such a kind person and have made many memories in Macra. My heart and prayers go to his family at this difficult time. I will miss him terribly. Rest easy Robert xx."
While another wrote,
"Jim, Mary, Aisling and Naoise; words cannot express our sadness on the passing of your beloved Robert. He was such a polite and kind young man. May you get the strength and support to comfort you in the days ahead. Please be assured that you are foremost in our thoughts and prayers."

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tullow (Eircode R93 TX99) on Thursday afternoon, 18th September from 4pm concluding at 8pm sharp.
Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow on Friday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tullow.
