Padraig (Pop) Long of 5 Quinagh Green and formerly of 4 Pinewood Avenue, Carlow, passed away unexpectedly, on January 5th, 2019 at his home.

Beloved son of the late Eamonn and Kathleen much loved brother of Anne, Eamonn and Aisling.

He will be sadly missed by his loving brother, sisters, aunts Joan and Eileen, uncles Hughie, Dennis and Paddy, brothers-in-law Pat and Anthony, sister-in-law Julie, nephews Eamonn Jnr, Pauric and Anthony Jnr, nieces Natashya, Jessica, Kate, Róisín and Cíara, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at his home (Eircode R93 C6P4) from 2pm on Monday with Prayers at 8pm. Removal from there on Tuesday at 11.15am to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

John Slater of Crossneen, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on January 5th, 2019 at The Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.

Beloved husband of the late Mary and much loved father of Patricia, Ger, Sean, Micheal and Paul.

He will be sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence (Eircode R93 E9T7) from 2pm on Sunday with Rosary at 9pm. Removal from there on Monday at 10.15am to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Funeral immediately afterwards to Killeshin Cemetery.

Smyth, Tom, Ballyraggan, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow – 5th January 2019 peacefully at Naas Hospital surrounded by his loving family; Sadly missed by his loving wife Annie, brothers Peter, Joe, Micheal and Ger, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing in St. Paul’s Oratory, Baltinglass from 3pm. on Monday, 7th January concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Joseph’s Church, Baltinglass for 11am. Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Baltinglass Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Friends of Naas Hospital. Donation box in Church.
