Philip Joseph (Joe) Phelan of Ballyhide, Carlow, passed away peacefully, on April 22nd, 2019, at Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, Carlow.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Kitty), much loved father of Susan and Caroline and adored grandfather of Anna, Adrian, Máirín and Cóilín.

He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren Halle and Ophelia, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Graiguecullen, Carlow from 4p.m on Wednesday with Prayers that evening at 7.30p.m Removal from there on Thursday at 11.30a.m to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Killeshin Cemetery.

Maureen Murphy (née Lawler) of Glencullen, Co. Dublin and formerly of Brown Street, Carlow, England and Graiguecullen, passed away peacefully on Easter Monday, 22nd April, 2019, in her 97th year, in the excellent care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, beloved wife of the late Patrick; much loved and deeply missed by her daughter Pauline, son-in-law Brian and her extended family and friends.

Sincere thanks to Noeleen and Tom Cahill and their dedicated staff for their exceptional care of Maureen during her stay in Atlanta House Nursing Home.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday evening, 24th April, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 25th April at 10.00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Glencullen followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Carlow at 1.00pm approx.

Lila Flood, died April 22nd 2019 (suddenly) at her home. Beloved wife of Denis and much loved mother of Jonathan and Damien. Sadly missed by her husband, sons, brothers Mikey and Paddy, sisters Birdie, Sr. Henrietta and Margaret, daughters-in-law Brenda and Anja, brothers-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow from 5pm on Wednesday concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church, Tinryland. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
