Michael (Hair-oil) Whelan died peacefully at the Sacred Heart Hospital after 23 years of loving care, in his 87th year. Predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth. Sadly missed by his wife Philly, sons Ger and Pat, daughter Julie, sister Marie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Friday from 4pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of the Holy Family, Askea to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please, donations, if desired, to the Friends of the Sacred Heart Hospital.

Reposing at her residence (Eir Code R21- V256) today Friday from 4.oc to 9.oc, and tomorrow Saturday 4.oc to 9.oc concluding with Funeral Prayers at 9.oc. Removal from her residence on Sunday morning arriving at St. Andrew's Church, Bagenalstown for Funeral Mass at 11.30oc. Burial afterwards in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown.

Corcoran Michael, 23rd May 2019, (Greenhills, Dublin 12 and late of Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow and An Garda Síochána), suddenly at home; beloved husband of Sheila and loving dad of Colm, Dearbhla, Fiona, Michael and Darren. Sadly missed by his loving wife, children, daughters-in-law Jacqui, Claire & Mariea, son-in-law Chris, grandchildren Molly, Anna, Tom, Ciara, Jane, Oliver, Jessica, Rachel, Andrea, Shane, Cian, Aidan and Amy, sister Eileen, brothers Eddie, John and Kevin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in Church of the Holy Spirit, Greenhills and afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only please.
