Enda Kenny commits serious fashion faux-pas ahead of cycle in the South East

His old footwear seems to have caught the eye of eagle-eyed social media users
The fashion choices of former Taoiseach Enda Kenny have been called into serious question ahead of a charity cycle in Waterford this weekend.
Kenny, who stepped away from his role as Taoiseach in 2017, was photographed ahead of the Uniphar Cross Cycle, based in Dungarvan and due to commence on Thursday.

It appears he can't let go of the sharp-dressing, suit-wearing politician he once was, so he's hanging onto the shoes for the time being with one commenter saying, "the shoes go well with Enda's tracksuit."
Despite his fashion faux pas, the Mayo man is being applauded for supporting the charity cycle which aims to raise money for the CROSS Cancer Research Charity.
To date, the event has raised over €400,000 for the charity and gets underway again on Thursday evening.
