Event celebrating Traveller culture takes place in Carlow next week

An event celebrating Traveller culture and change makers is taking place in Carlow next week.

All are invited to attend this year's Carlow Traveller Pride, which takes place on June 14 at St Catherine's Community Services Centre.

Visitors can expect vibrant displays of barrel top wagons and demonstrations of Traveller culture, such as a tinsmith demonstration and craft display.

The day will also mark the launch of the Carlow Traveller Interagency Strategy.
