Two local County Carlow schools are coming together to bring their rendition of Mamma Mia to Carlow's Visual Theatre.

St. Mary’s Academy CBS and Gaelcholáiste Cheatharlach will be running their play from Tuesday the 21st of January till Thursday the 23rd of January 2025.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as the talented Transition Year students from St. Mary’s Academy CBS and Gaelcholáiste Cheatharlach bring the magic of Mamma Mia to life! Voulez Vous, The Mamma Mia Story takes to the stage at VISUAL Carlow from Tuesday, 21st to Thursday, 23rd January 2025, with performances starting nightly at 8pm.

Set on a sun-soaked Greek island, Mamma Mia follows the story of Sophie, a young bride-to-be, as she secretly invites three men from her mother Donna’s past to her wedding in the hopes of discovering which one is her father. Featuring the iconic hits of ABBA, this heartwarming tale weaves together themes of family, love, and friendship in a celebration of music and joy.

Expect dazzling performances, show-stopping numbers, and the infectious energy of a brilliant cast, making this a production that’s sure to delight audiences of all ages.
