Gardaí from Carlow, Tullow and Bagenalstown stations handed out Christmas gifts to Carlow's Little Blue Heroes.
The Little Blue Heroes Foundation’s goal is to support families of children with serious illnesses in Ireland while granting the wish of the children they support to become Honorary Gardaí.
The aim is to empower the child and foster positive engagement with An Garda Síochána.
Each child received a surprise gift bag "Sarah's Gift". This initiative was set up by the family of one Little Blue Hero, Sarah Robinson, who sadly passed away in 2019.
