Free recycling of real Christmas trees on offer to Carlow people next month

Free recycling of real Christmas trees is on offer to Carlow people for the month of January. 

According to Carlow County Council, people can recycle their trees free of charge at Powerstown Civil Amenity Site on Kilkenny Road, which will re-open on Tuesday January 3 at 8.30am. 

The offer - part of a positive climate action project - is valid for the month of January with a maximum of three trees per customer accepted.
