On Wednesday night, SETU Carlow's fresher football team overcame Mary I in the Rory O'Connor Division 2 Fresher Football Semi-Final.
The Carlow college defeated the Limerick outfit by five points on a scoreline of 3-12 to 1-13 at SETU Carlow.
