The Carlow senior footballers will host neighbours Wicklow at Netwatch Cullen Park in their opening game of Division 4 on Saturday 28 January.
Carlow will also come up against Wexford, London, Leitrim, Waterford, Sligo and Laois in the Allianz Football League campaign.
Niall Carew's side finished second from bottom in Division 4 last season.
Opening weekend fixtures - January 28/29 (Division 4):
Carlow v Wicklow, Netwatch Cullen Park, 7pm
Wexford v London, Chadwicks Wexford Park, 7pm
Leitrim v Waterford, Avant Money Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada, 1pm
Sligo v Laois, Markievicz Park Sligo, 2pm
