Gardaí catch thief at Carlow garage dismantling tyres and throwing them over fence

Gardaí in Carlow have caught a thief who was at a Carlow garage dismantling tyres with his tools trolly and throwing them over the fence onto the street.
The incident happened at a garage on Green Lane in Carlow on February 8 at 8pm. The owners noticed movement around their garage and contacted Gardaí.
Gardaí went to the scene and found a male in the process of stealing tyres by dismantling them and throwing them over the compound fence onto the street.
The man, with a Carlow address, was conveyed to Carlow Garda Station.
He was subsequently charged and is due to appear at a future sitting of Carlow District Court.
