Gardaí in Carlow ask firearms owners to submit completed licence renewals

The Gardaí have recently had to seize unlicensed firearms and ammunition.

Gardaí in Carlow, Waterford and Kilkenny are urging firearms owners to complete and submit renewals once they receive them in the post.

A firearm without a licence is an illegal and can be subject to seizure.

Should you no longer wish to keep your firearms or ammunition, they can be given to your local station where they will then be destroyed at no charge to you.
