ELECTION LATEST: Nearing the end? 13th Count Complete still only one candidate elected

Loreto Count Centre Kilkenny

The 12th count has been completed here in Kilkenny for the Carlow/Kilkenny Constituency for the General Election 2024.

John McGuiness' surplus of 422 has been redistributed amongst the remaining candidates.

David Fitzgerald is the next lowest candidate and has been eliminated on the 13th count.

Catherine Callaghan is just 28 votes behind Jennifer Murnane O'Connor as it stands after 13th count, David Fitzgerald's redistribution will be very interesting in this fight

Áine Gladney Knox - 8,507 - Gained 7

Fitzgerald, David - 8,174 - Eliminated on the 13th count

Doyle, Michael FG - 5,467 - Eliminated on the tenth count 

O'Neil, Gary Ant -3,765 -  Eliminated on the ninth count

Noonan, Malcom Grn - Eliminated on the eighth count 

McGuiness, Eugene Non-P -Eliminated in the seventh count

Ó hArgáin Seán Lab -  Eliminated in the sixth count

O'Connor Luke Non P - Eliminated in the fifth count
