Irish golfers at Masters 2023: Tee times for Thursday and Friday
It is officially Masters week as the best golfers in the world will compete for the most sought-after major in the game at Augusta National.

Four Irish golfers will be in attendance at this year's tournament - Offaly's Shane Lowry, Down's Rory Mcllroy, Waterford's Seamus Power and Antrim's Matt McClean.
The 2023 Masters tees off today (Thursday) - coverage of the prestigious sporting event will be live on Sky Sports Golf throughout the week and weekend.
All eyes will be once again on McIlroy as he attempts to pick up the final major of the puzzle this week. The world number two is a four-time major champion having won the 2011 U.S. Open, 2012 PGA Championship, 2014 Open Championship and 2014 PGA Championship. The recent world number one's best finish came last year when he finished in second, three strokes off the winner Scottie Scheffler.

Lowry comes into this year's Masters as world number 23. The 2019 Open Championship winner had his best finish at the 2022 Masters when he placed T3.

It has been quite the rise for Power who is now ranked 34th in the world. This will be his second appearance at Augusta having come in T27 last year.

This will be the first appearance at Augusta for Belfast man McClean. The 29-year-old qualified for this year's tournament thanks to his US Mid-Amateur Championship triumph in 2022.
