A resident of Carlow Town has contacted Carlow Live to highlight the amount of rubbish that was strewn all over Carlow Town Park during the recent warm weather.

The person, who did not wish to be named, said: "It was disgraceful. Bins overflowing and the grass areas left littered like a festival aftermath." (see the pictures above)

With good weather expected over the next few days, please do your bit to keep Carlow clean and tidy, especially the public amenities.

If bins are overflowing, take your rubbish home.
