A garda investigation is underway into two break-ins at houses in Carlow in the past week.
Gardaí in Carlow are investigating reports of a burglary at a house in Burrin Manor, Tullow Road in Carlow between Monday 13th and Wednesday the 15th.
A glass panel on a side door was broken to access the house, the house was ransacked.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity between 3pm on the Monday and 9pm on the Wednesday to contact Carlow Garda Station.
A house in Grange, Tullow was broken into between 2pm on Monday 13th and 3pm on Thursday 16th. The rear door was forced open to gain entry.
The house alarm was damaged in the course of the burglary. However, nothing was taken during the incident.
Gardaí in Tullow are appealing for any information in relation to the incident.
