Carlow County Council is inviting applications for a number of job vacancies.
Roles including River Lifeguard, IS Analyst Developer, General Operative, and Archivist/ Data Protection and Information Governance Officer are open to applications from interested parties.
According to the council, the post of River Lifeguard is seasonal and temporary, and a panel will be formed from which vacancies for the bathing season may be filled in order of merit.
The post of IS Analyst Developer is permanent and pensionable, and the chosen candidate will be responsible for contributing to and managing the implementation and support of key business systems.
The chosen General Operative will be responsible for maintenance duties, safe keeping of equipment, and driving Council-owned vehicles, among other responsibilities.
This is also a permanent and pensionable role.

The Archivist/Data Protection and Information Governance Officer will be responsible for the management of a large
collection of archival material relating to Carlow County Council and its predecessor bodies.
They will also be responsible for the provision of records management expertise and support to the organisation to underpin the effective delivery of council services.
The role is permanent and pensionable.
The closing date for all applications is April 28, 2023.
