Carlow businesses will have the opportunity to learn what supports are available to them through 3 breakfast seminars to be hosted by Carlow's Local Enterprise Office.

Each year Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office provides €1.8 million in supports directly to the SME community in County Carlow via a partnership with Enterprise Ireland.

These services include training, mentoring, direct financial assistance and development vouchers for Lean, Green, Trading Online & Digital.

To support companies to further avail of supports the Local Enterprise Office is running a series of 3 breakfast seminars designed to provide professional advice from experts in a number of support subjects. These breakfast seminars, branded as ‘Opportunity 2023’ start next week with a presentation on Digital by Noel Davidson, one of Irelands leading digital experts.

Speaking about why companies should engage with the Local Enterprise Office,  Séamus Doran, Assistant Head of Economic Development & Enterprise said “The Local Enterprise Office is an invaluable help to any Carlow business hoping to establish or grow. We offer a range of practical supports, many of which are suitable to most local businesses. The Carlow businesses we work with have been able to use our support to become more profitable and offer a wider range of services to their own customers.”

Welcoming the seminar series, Cllr. Brian O’Donoghue, Cathaoirleach of Carlow County Council “We are excited to be bringing the Opportunity 2023 Breakfast Seminar series to our business community and we are delighted to have a full range of expert speakers”

These free events include complimentary breakfast and will take place in the Seven Oaks Hotel from 8am-9.30am each morning.

Commenting on the sessions, Kieran Comerford, Head of Economic Development & Enterprise said “These events are an invaluable opportunity for our business owners and entrepreneurs to network and learn from each other.” Comerford continued to say “We’re very pleased to host the Opportunity 2023 breakfast seminars to both provide that opportunity and to share information about the many grants and programs that are available to our businesses to help them start, pivot or grow their business.”

Representatives from Local Enterprise Office will be on hand to speak to businesses about the many financial and other supports that are available to them and will provide valuable information on how to access grant funding and move your business forward.

There is no cost to attend the ‘Opportunity 2023’ Business Breakfasts but pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 40 attendees at each event so be sure to register early to avoid disappointment!
