CARLOW WEATHER: Spot flooding and possible thunderstorms today (Apr 22)

Today (April 22) will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain. 

That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts showers developing elsewhere through the morning, turning heavy with hail, spot flooding and possible isolated thunderstorms. 

Highest temperatures will be between 9 to 12 degrees in a light variable or northeast breeze. 

Tonight will be cloudy with further showers in the south and outbreaks of rain elsewhere. 

The rain and showers will become light and less frequent as the night goes on, with some clear spells developing. 

Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees in a light variable or northerly breeze.
