Gardaí are investigating two burglaries at houses in Carlow over the last week.
According to Gardaí, both incidents occurred on Wednesday (April 26) with the first taking place at a home in Sandbrook, Ballon between 9.30am and 10.30am.
The house was ransacked and a sum of cash was reportedly taken.
The second burglary occurred in Coppiragh, Tullow between 10.30am and midday, whereby the glass in the back door was smashed to gain entry and the house was ransacked.
A small quantity of jewellery was taken.
Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity/vehicles in the areas are asked to contact Tullow Garda Station.
