Planning permission has been granted for a significant development at a Carlow nursing home.
Carlow County Council greenlit the application - submitted in May 2022 by Benkai Consulting Limited for the SignaCare Nursing Home, Killerig, Tullow - this week (April 24).
The development will consist of internal reconfigurations at ground floor level to provide an additional 11 bedrooms, an enlarged beauty salon, treatment room, nurses station and relocated toilets, stores and staff areas.
Ancillary alterations to elevations and all associated site works and services are also included.
