An occupant of a house in Carlow had to put out a fire after their front door was set on fire in the middle of the night, with no-one injured during the frightening incident.
Gardaí are investigating the incident in which the front door of a house was set on fire at a house in Maple Court, Phelin Wood, Tullow, Co Carlow in the early hours of Monday morning, June 26.
No one was injured and the fire was extinguished by the occupant of the house.
The incident occurred at 3.40am.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Unit B Tullow Garda Station.
