Works are due to begin shortly on Carlow Tullow Road housing area Active Travel Scheme
The Active Travel Team have notified the successful contractor to carry out Active Travel works in the Tullow Road housing area.
Theses works will include the construction of new pedestrian / cycling facilities along the entrance road to John Sweeney Park, Willow Park, Burrin Manor and The Laurels housing estates, extending from the previously completed sections of cycling infrastructure, to link up with the River Burrin Walk and cycle track.
Works are due to begin shortly.
