ALERT: Fake Carlow Facebook page trying to scam locals
Tullow sports team Parkville United A.F.C had to remove their Facebook competition, for a place at their summer soccer camp, due to a huge number of fraudulent messages trying to scam the entrants.
Locals entering the competition were receiving scam messages from a fraudulent page urging them to click on an unsafe link to claim their prize.
The official Parkville United page announced that anyone who had entered before the post was taken down were entered into the draw. They announced the winner on their official page.
