Diamond jubilee for Carlow Credit Union as they celebrate 60 years in business
Carlow Credit Union, established in March 1963, celebrate 60 years in business this year.
Originally located at CYMS Hall on College Street, they have relocated many times over the years.
Their first move was to Presentation School on Tullow Street, which is now Carlow Library.
Then to Burrin Street before landing at their current location, Credit Union House, Askea which opened 2004.
In 2023, Carlow District Credit Union currently has over 34,000 members.
