Carlow County Council offices on the Athy Road
Coilín O'Reilly, Assistant Chief Executive for Dublin City Council, has been revealed as the man chosen to be appointed as new CEO for Carlow County Council.
This comes after Kathleen Holohan stood down from her position in October 2022.
Michael Rainey has stood in as Interim Chief Executive since then.
The recommendation of Mr O'Reilly will come before councillors at a meeting on August 10.
