What's On: Bring your swimsuit and float together in the River Barrow
As part of the National Heritage Week 2023 celebrations, Muine Bheag Arts presents a new performance work 'Float Together in the River Barrow' by artist Niamh Seana Meehan.
Niamh Seana Meehan is a visual artist based in Co. Armagh who has performed and exhibited both nationally and internationally.
Niamh’s work explores the connection between the body and nature.
As an experienced wild swimmer, she will facilitate a collective floatation in the River Barrow where you can join the performance and all float together in the river.
Meeting at Bagenalstown Swimming Club at 12pm on Sunday 20th August.
All are welcome to join in this unique experience or observe from the river bank.
