Planning permission sought for change of use of well-known Carlow B&B

Barrowville Town House, Kilkenny Road, Carlow Town

A well-known B&B premises in Carlow town has been given the green light by local authorities to return for private use, after an application for change of use was submitted to Carlow County Council. 

Barrowville B&B, Kilkenny Road, Carlow was recently sold and now the new owners plan to return it to its original use as a domestic home. 

The planning application details the change of use of the entire building from use as a Bed & Breakfast to use as private dwelling house, all ancillary site works and services at Protected Structure CT64, NIAH No. 10000223, known as Barrowville Town House. 

Planning permission has been granted subject to conditions outlined by the council.
