Carlow Central Library
Carlow County Council, standing in the name of Cllr. John, stated their support for library workers at the recent September meeting.
This comes in the wake of intimidation and threats to library workers in Cork, Kerry, Leitrim, Limerick and Swords by protestors.
They stated that they acknowledge the role played by libraries as central hubs of the community in County Carlow.
While recognising the fantastic work of staff at Carlow County Library, they endeavor to support Carlow library workers when faced with censorship, harassment or intimidation.
