Popular menswear store in the heart of Carlow Town is up for Retailer of the Year

Detail Menswear Carlow have been nominated for 'Retailer of the Year Award' as part of the Carlow Chamber Business Awards 2023.

The popular menswear store has been open for thirty-five years and is the longest running business located at Potato Market, in Carlow Town.

Speaking to Carlow Live, Philip McDonald said 'it's a great honor to be nominated again. It is a public nomination so the fact that people have taken the time out of their day to nominate our business is a real honor.'

After being nominated by the public, Detail made it to the next stage which consisted of the team conducting a thirty minute presentation to a panel of judges.

The Chamber then carried out a secret visit to their store.

Detail Menswear won the 'Retailer of the Year Award' last year and hope to maintain this title for another year.

The Carlow Chamber Business Awards were set up to shine a light on the very best businesses across County Carlow.

The winners will be announced next week on Thursday 28th September.
