What's On: Join a panel of successful businesswomen for Carlow's 'Women's Enterprise Day'
The theme of this year’s National Women’s Enterprise Day event is “Empowering Business Together”.
The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) initiative is in its 17th year. Events will take place across the country on Thursday 19th October. There are fourteen events nationwide and they feature a range of successful businesswomen discussing areas of sustainability, innovation, networking and marketing.
The Carlow/Kildare event is taking place in The Clanard Court Hotel, Athy, County Kildare on Thursday, 19th October 2023 for a lunchtime event hosted by successful businesswomen.
The event will begin with a networking drinks reception, followed by a two course lunch and tea/coffee in main ballroom with Susan Keogh, Ireland Director at H/Advisors Cicero as MC followed by a key address by Rachel Doyle of Arboretum, who will then join an armchair panel discussion with successful businesswomen Fiona Uyema of Fused by Fionauyema, Lucy Gernon of Powerhouse Revolution and Emma Murphy National President of Network Ireland 2023.
Melissa Doyle, Business Advisor, Local Enterprise Office Carlow, said; “The National Women’s Enterprise Day has become a great opportunity for female entrepreneurs to come together to celebrate their achievements and success and to inspire other businesswomen to take that step to startup. This event, now in its 17th year, is to encourage and inspire female entrepreneurs across the country. It’s a great opportunity for women in business or those thinking of starting a business, to learn new skills, gain knowledge and grow their network, so why not come along and celebrate with Carlow/Kildare Local Enterprise Offices”.
