Tullow prepares for Storm Agnes as pedestrian access is restricted in certain areas

Tullow Town Park and Thomas Traynor Memorial Park will be closed to the public today, Wednesday 27th September, due to the adverse weather conditions.

Storm Agnes has brought with it a status Orange weather warning for County Carlow.

For the safety of the public, Carlow County Council has decided to close these landmarks in Tullow, Carlow.

Flood barriers have also been fitted as a precaution at certain points along the River Slaney in Tullow, meaning that pedestrian access is also restricted on the river-side pathway adjacent to the former Bridge House Hotel.
