Anna Fenlon from Borris, County Carlow is a student at the Technological University of the Shannon’s (TUS) Athlone Campus.
Anna is one of four students at TUS Athlone Campus to have been nominated for ‘Digital Student of the Year’ at this year’s Digital Media Awards (DMA). Her classmates Adam Bermingham, Dara Lenihan and Caoimhe Horan, have also been nominated for their work on their final-year capstone projects.
The ‘Digital Student of the Year’ award shines a light on exceptional students who have shown they understand the role that digital media plays in a modern company or brand.
Louise Murray, a senior lecturer in the Department of Business and Management who is in charge of the final-year capstone project, congratulated the students on their nominations. “Myself and my colleagues who have lectured and supported these four exceptional students in the years leading up to and including the capstone project could not be prouder to see them nominated for their applied projects on a national stage at this year’s Digital Media Awards. They are all winners.”
The Digital Media Awards 2023 will take place this Friday, 29th September in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin.
