Clogrennane Woods, Carlow
Irish influencer and hiking enthusiast Rozanna Purcell shared her list of top Autumnal hiking destinations in Ireland with her followers.
The list detailed thirty-five destinations across the country, including one Carlow location - Clogrennane Woods.
Clogrennane Woods is located close to Carlow Town and consists of a gentle sloping four kilometre walk on forest roads with magnificent views of Carlow Town and the River Barrow. The old wooded area has had forestry cover present since the 1800’s and is known for it's abundance of bluebells which bloom in the Spring.
If you're a hiking enthusiast, Carlow Autumn Walking Festival 2023 takes place this weekend from Friday 6th October to Sunday 8th October.
