In Pictures: Carlow Creatives travel to Oslo closing conference of the Craft Hub project

Project Coordinator, Stacey Phelan, of Local Enterprise Office, Carlow County Council travelled to Oslo, Norway with fellow staff members and craft makers to take part in the closing conference of Craft Hub.

The Craft Hub Project took place over the last three years, celebrating and highlighting the skill and innovation of contemporary craft makers in an International Exhibition. The Craft Hub exhibition commenced in Italy in Spring 2023, before touring Greece, Germany, Portugal, Ireland, Wales, and finally Norway. 

Local artists Ally Nolan and Jules Michael were present at the events. Sinead Dowling, Arts Officer in Carlow County Council and Aileen Nolan Assistant Arts Officer in Carlow County Council shared their insights at the event on projects like the Borris Lace by Post project and the Drummin Bog project.
