Seventeen-year-old talented dancer from Carlow lands place on elite training programme
Seventeen-year-old Goda Stepanova, a talented dancer from Carlow, has landed a place on an elite training programme at the prestigious Liverpool Theatre School.
Goda secured her coveted place following her exceptional performance during the auditions for the prestigious performing arts school.
The school has trained thousands of professional performers who have gone on to star in successful shows such as SIX, Blood Brothers, The Book of Mormon and the West End adaptation of Frozen.
Goda is a former Presentation College Carlow student, who also attended Dance Republic Carlow.
Goda, who has been dancing since she was two years old, said: “My dream is to become a professional dancer so having the opportunity to train at Liverpool Theatre School is incredible. I feel very lucky and excited about my new adventure.”
Speaking on Goda’s audition for Liverpool Theatre School, Principal, Maxine Ellis, said: “We were blown away by Goda’s performance during the auditions. She clearly has a real passion for dance and plenty of natural talent. As an extremely gifted young performer, Goda is well deserving of a place at Liverpool Theatre School and we’re looking forward to helping her prepare for an exciting career in the industry.”
