Santa is in Carlow to turn on the Christmas lights alongside Mayor

Santa is set to land in Carlow to turn on the Christmas lights alongside Mayor of Carlow Cllr. Tom O'Neill.

The Christmas lights will be turned on later today, Saturday 18th November at Lightfest.

Lightfest is a free family event with music, fireworks, and much more.

Gates open at 4pm with food vendors, facepainting and live music for all to enjoy. Local musicians Dave O'Neill and Monroe will be live on stage along with other acts. The lights will be officially switched on at 6pm by Santa and Mayor of Carlow Cllr. Tom O'Neill. The evening will then conclude with a firework display.

The event will take place at Carlow Town Hall and is free to attend but you must reserve your place on Eventbrite
