Local talent shines: Carlow hairstylist Kon Kelly wins at Image Awards

The Image Business of Beauty 2023 Awards took place this week in Dublin. The event marks the best of Irish hair and beauty and has run for the past nine years.

Carlow's Kon Kelly took home the award for Best Hair Educator.

Kon, who has been an educator with Peter Mark Hair since 2019, took to social media to express his gratitude. 

'I raise this to the women in my life, my friends, my family, my teachers, my managers, my educators, my colleagues, my mentors, my clients and all the brand owners and women of influence in my life who took a chance on me this year.'

Another Carlow talent was recognised by Image on the night.

Shauna Fitzpatrick, owner of Illuminate by Shauna Beauty Salon, was awarded Bronze runner up in the Best Brow Artist category.
