Tickets have officially gone on sale for the Borris House Festival of Writing & Ideas 2024

Tickets have officially gone on sale for the Borris House Festival of Writing & Ideas 2024 which will take place Friday 7th June to Sunday 9th June.

2024 will mark the twelfth year of the local festival which celebrates Irish literature, poetry and music.

Both weekend and day tickets are available and can be purchased online HERE

Well-known authors Margaret Atwood, Cerys Matthews, Leila Slimani, Sebastian Barry, Simon Armitage and Tom Holland have been announced as part of next years festival with more speakers to be announced in January.

The Borris Festival Book Club has been launched alongside the sale of tickets. Each month, a favorite book by one of the 2024 authors will be selected. You can sign up free of charge and will be invited to join the author live online to talk about the book. The first author of the book club is Colm Toibin.

The Borris Broadcasts, is a podcast series that will be published every fortnight, starting next week. The podcast will share clips from the best talks from the 2023 festival which took place in June. Some speakers you may expect to hear from include broadcaster John Kelly, musician Adam Clayton, Ruby Wax, Ian McGilchrist, Ian McEwan, Imelda May, Jeremy Irons and Bernadine Evaristo.
