The safety of pedestrians and cyclists using the Tullow Road is prioritised in new project

The Carlow Active Travel Team have commenced construction of the Tullow Road Pedestrian & Cycle Scheme.

The aim of the scheme is to improve the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, making the Tullow Road more accessible for all. The development will include widening footpaths and installing cycle lanes.

The Active Travel team commented, 'This is an important initiative that will enhance the town's transportation infrastructure and promote sustainable mobility.'
