Carlow County Council consider filling local quarry with 80,000 tonnes over seven years

Carlow County Council have received a planning application asking for permission to fill lands of 3.0 hectares located at Ardristan, Tullow, with soil and stone material (volume of 80,000 tonnes over 7 years).

This is to restore/reinstate the land back to quarry lands.

The planning application was submitted on 21st December by Walsh Quarries Ltd. 

Walsh Quarries Ltd also included a Natura Impact Statement to show how this development will affect the environment.
