Pres De La Salle Bagnalstown, Carlow took on St Muredach’s College Ballina, Mayo in the Pinergy Basketball Ireland U19B Boys Schools Cup Final at National Basketball Arena in Tallaght, Dublin

Earlier this week, Pres De La Salle Bagnalstown, Carlow took on St Muredach’s College Ballina, Mayo in the Pinergy Basketball Ireland U19B Boys Schools Cup Final at National Basketball Arena in Tallaght, Dublin.

Pres De La Salle Bagnalstown's team consisted of the following players and scorers; Sean Hanlon (2), Evan Kelly, Adam Doyle, Rian Broderick (11), Darragh Fitzgerald, Ben Hogan, Conor Dunne (2), Shane McDonald (3), Ruarc O’Neill, Ben Smyth (3), Jeremy Hla (16), Tadhg O’Neill (2).

The Team Captains were Rian Broderick and Tadhg O’Neill. While their Head Coach was Leon Power and Assistant Coach was SETU Carlow's Xabier Arriaga.

In the end, Pres De La Salle lost with 40 points to St Muredach’s 63.
