Try Sport Coaching
Have you ever wondered what is it's like to delve into the world of sports coaching?
Try Sports Coaching is designed specifically for CAO applicants who want the unique chance to walk a day in the shoes of our students, experiencing our state-of-the-art facilities and meeting the experts who drive our programs. This event is only open to 5th, 6th year, FE and mature students.
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a day in the life of an SETU student and explore sports coaching as a career path. During the event, participants will engage in hands-on session where they learn basic coaching techniques, understand coaching methodologies, and gain insights into the dynamics of sports coaching.
These events aim to not only introduce students to the fundamentals of sports coaching but also to help them determine if pursuing coaching roles aligns with their interests and aspirations.
Both events take place on Tuesday March 5 at SETU, Kilkenny Road, Carlow, from 9.30am to 1pm.
