Carlow people urged to be vigilant following burglary at popular day care centre

A day care centre in Carlow has urged people to be "vigilant" and to "stay safe" following a burglary at their premises during the week.

Tullow Day Care Centre, who provide care for the eldery in Tullow and the surrounding hinterland, had a number of items stolen on Wednesday night including a power washer, an electric lawnmower, a drill and two leafblowers.

In a post on their Facebook page, Tullow Day Care Centre said: "Sad to report that Tullow Day Care Centre was robbed last night (Wednesday, 21st August) and a number of items were taken from our premises.

"If you noticed anything please contact the local Gardai. 

"Please be vigilant and stay safe," they signed off the post.
