A special shout out has been made to Carlow Captain Jim Hanley who is celebrating 60 years of service with Carlow unit of Order of Malta Ambulance Corps

A special mention has been made to Carlow's Captain Jim Hanley who was awarded is 60-year service medal.
In a post on Facebook, the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps said that this award signifies a remarkable milestone and testament to a lifetime of service to others.
Captain Jim Hanley of the Carlow Unit of the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps began his journey in healthcare and with the Ambulance Corps as a young Cadet where his passion for helping others first took root, the post said.
"Over the decades, his commitment, compassion, and leadership have inspired many others and made an enduring impact on the communities he has served in. Something which we are proud of," the post said.
"On behalf of everyone in the Carlow Unit of the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps, we extend our deepest gratitude and warmest congratulations to Jim for his six decades of unwavering dedication, service, and care. Thank you Jim".
